Club Committee

A committee comprising the elected officers and the Head Coach will conduct BUVC's administration. The Committee shall consist of the following:

  • Club Captain
  • Head Coach
  • Treasurer
  • Secretary
  • Competitive Team Captains (one per team)
  • Active Lifestyle/Recreational Captain
  • Social Secretary
  • Publicity and Sponsorship Liaison Officer
  • Junior Development Officer

The Committee will be convened by the Club Captain no less than 10 times per year. Only the individuals listed above have the right to vote at meetings of the Committee and the quorum required for business to be agreed at Committee meetings will be 70 per cent of the elected officers.

The Committee with the guidance of the Head Coach will be responsible for formulating new policy, codes of conduct, rules that affect the organisation of the Club, and strategic planning. The Committee will have the power to appoint sub-committees and advisors as necessary to fulfil its business.

The Committee will be responsible for disciplinary hearings of members who infringe the Club's Constitution, Codes of Conduct and Rules or those regulations set out by the Club's governing bodies. The Committee will be responsible for actioning any suspension or discipline following such a hearing.

The Committee has the right to call Extra-ordinary General Meetings (EGMs). Procedures for EGM's will be the same for the AGM (see below).
