Financial Management

The Club Committee will be responsible for returning University Sport Birmingham Athletic Union's annual budget application in good time. The Club Committee in the process of completing the budget applications will consult with the BUVC membership and especially with the Club's coaches.

The Club will also maintain, in the name of the Club, a current account for processing financial transactions unrelated to the Club's Grant Account. All payments made by the Club from the current account must be authorised by two of the Club's officers.

The Club's elected Treasurer will be responsible for the Club's finances and will be responsible for presenting:

  • a record of the Club's current account transactions to the University Sport Birmingham Athletic Union Administrator
  • an audited statement of the accounts at the AGM

The Club's financial year will be from the 1st July until the 30th June.
