Head Coach

A suitable and qualified member of BUVC will be appointed to the position of Head Coach of the Club. The appointment of a Head Coach must be sanctioned by the Club Committee and University Sport Birmingham Athletic Union.
The Head Coach is responsible for, alongside the elected Committee, formulating new policy, codes of conduct, rules that affect the organisation of the Club and strategic planning. The Head Coach will also be responsible for coaching appointments, yearly reviews, professional development and dismissals. All recommendations from the Head Coach must be approved by the Club Committee.
The Head Coach position is not an elected position and will only become available when either the current incumbent resigns or both the Club Committee and University Sport Birmingham agree on the need for dismissal.
