The school's sports hall is not visible from the road, being behind the school. The small road to the hall and car park is on the left side of the main school buildings if you face the school stood on Turves Green Road.

The school is approximately 7 miles from Birmingham city centre, 5 miles from the University of Birmingham, and 4 miles from Junction 4 of the M5 motorway.

Travel by Train

The nearest train station is Longbridge (on the same line as the University Station), with regular trains stopping there to and from the city centre. The School is 0.5 miles from the station. Turn left as you come out of the station, walk up Longbridge Lane, passing Central Avenue on your left, turn left onto Turves Green and the school is 5-6 minutes down on the right.

Directions by Car

From the North (M6, M42 and city centre)

  • Leave the M6 at Junction 6, and take the Aston Expressway (A38) towards the city centre.
  • Continue along the A38, passing over a flyover with Aston University on the left, and through 3 tunnels, past the University of Birmingham and passing through Selly Oak and Northfield.
  • After passing through Northfield via the a new bypass, continue along the A38 for a further 1.2 miles, passing a Shell Petrol Station.
  • After approximately 1.2 miles, at a set of traffic lights turn right onto Longbridge Lane, look for signposts to Longbridge Train Station.
  • Continue along Longbridge Lane, passing the rail station and at the first mini-roundabout turn left on to Turves Green.
  • After approximately 0.3 miles, you should see Turves Green Humanities & Arts College on the right-hand side.

From the South-West and West (M5)

  • Leave the M5 at Junction 4, taking the A38 (Birmingham Road) into Birmingham.
  • Follow the A38 until you reach a roundabout, passing by Rubury Retail Park on the left.
  • At the roundabout take the first exit.
  • At the first set of traffic lights turn right onto Longbridge Lane, look for signposts to Longbridge Train Station.
  • Continue along Longbridge Lane, passing the rail station and at the first mini-roundabout turn left on to Turves Green.
  • Approximately 0.3 miles, you should see Turves Green Humanities & Arts College on the right-hand side.
