Volley 2 Achieved

Just a mere five months after achieving Volleyball England?s Volley 1, which includes the prestigious Sport England Club Mark, the Club has been awarded Volley 2, becoming only the third volleyball club in the country to do so. We were the first University based volleyball club to achieve Volley 1 and we have repeated that with Volley 2.
Volleyball England?s accreditation programme (Volley 1-2-3) is designed to recognise Club?s that stand apart from other Club?s in terms of being well managed, have a comprehensive playing programme, are inclusive, friendly and take care of their members.
For this Club that mean?s ensuring that all our coaches who lead training session have at least a Level Two coaching certificate, a first aid qualification and their SCUK Safeguarding and Protecting Children certificate. We are also unique in that we offer all levels of volleyball from beginners? classes to national league teams.
The Club?s committee will continue to work towards Volley 3, with an end of November 2007 completion date.
