Men?s NVL 2nd Team takes to the court

To most people in the volleyball world it was not significant, but to the Club and team members concerned it was an important day - the first time the men?s second national league team took to the court.
Although there were only six of them (pictured), the act of moving the existence of the team from ?paper? to actually playing a game had taken considerable effort but reflected the hard work and continued growth of the Club. It was unfortunate that their first home game happened to be away in Middlesbrough (the furthest they have to travel all season) and against the top two teams in the Division.
There was no fairytale start, losing both games 3-0, but they put in a decent performance and as the team settles down it is certain that better result will come. The Club wishes them all the best for the season!
