Club juniors in England Cadet Success

Two of the Club?s junior players, who have come through the club partnership with Redhill Volleyball Club, represented the England cadets in February and helped the team lift the Sparkasse Rondo Cup at an international tournament in Austria.
William Jenkins, aged 15, and Carl Butcher, aged 16, who both play for the Club?s national league first team were part of the England U17 squad in Austria on the 2nd and 3rd February 2008.
The Cadets played five games over the weekend, beating teams from France, Germany and Italy. Both players featured in the final which saw the Cadets beat German outfit Wurtemburg 2-0.
