Freshers Week and Sports Fair Volunteers Wanted

The Club needs volunteers to help set up and be present at the sports fair stall on 24th September 2008, put up banners around campus and the Vale and deliver flyers around halls of residence, Selly Oak and anywhere else students go. Freshers week, and the sports fair is our opportunity to really showcase what our club has to offer and to convince people that they should play volleyball.

If you are willing to help out, even if only for an hour, please contact Kieron Bradley: kjbradley388@hotmail.com.

Sitting Volleyball Session Starting

The Club is establishing a weekly sitting volleyball session from this Thursday (4th September). The session will be at Selly Park Girls School on the Pershore (B29 7PH) from 6pm for one hour, with car parking available adjacent to the sports hall. All Club members are welcome to try this adapted volleyball game for free, it is an excellent way to get fit and improve your core stability. Please pass this information on to anyone who may be interested.
